The Streetfighter line was established with the bold idea of stripping the fairings off a Ducati Superbike, beginning with the 1098 in 2009, creating a "Fight Formula" of raw power and aggressive, upright ergonomics. This 2023 Ducati Streetfighter V2 is the modern continuation of that legacy, combining the insolent attitude of the original with the refined platform of the Panigale V2.
Its sharp, minimalist styling is immediately recognizable, featuring the iconic "Joker grin" V-shaped DRL headlight. The motorcycle is built around the Panigale's monocoque aluminum frame and high-spec running gear, including fully adjustable Showa/Sachs suspension and powerful Brembo brakes. This makes the Streetfighter V2 a lightweight, 392-pound (dry) precision instrument.
Its aggressive performance is managed by an advanced six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU)-based electronics suite, featuring Ducati Traction Control (DTC) EVO 2, Cornering ABS EVO, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) EVO, and the lightning-fast Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) EVO 2.
Aesthetically and functionally, the motorcycle is equipped with black plastic fenders, rider and passenger seats, rear-set foot controls, and a side stand. It has been thoughtfully modified with a license plate relocation kit, a Ducati zipper guard, ceramic coating, and aerodynamic winglets for enhanced performance. The black-finished one-piece handlebar is equipped with CRG bar-end mirrors in addition to a piston-style steering damper.
The ultimate in naked sport performance, the Ducati Streetfighter V2 is powered by the potent 955cc Superquadro V-twin that delivered 153 hp from factory. The sound and performance are aggressively enhanced by a full titanium Akrapovič two-into-two exhaust system, and the engine management computer has been flashed with a racing tune. This machine offers a visceral, track-ready experience with razor-sharp handling, all while remaining intuitive for street use. With its advanced electronics suite, the Streetfighter V2 is pure Italian adrenaline.
