Supercharged 668HP Pinnacle of American Sedans

The Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing represents the culmination of two decades of "V-Series" development, a journey that began in 2004 with the original CTS-V. While Cadillac has spent decades chasing the benchmarks set by European luxury performance brands, the Blackwing is the moment they surpassed them. It arrived as a defiant statement in an era shifting toward electrification, serving as the spiritual successor to the CTS-V and the most powerful sedan in Cadillac's 120-year history. It isn't just a car; it is a "thank you" to enthusiasts, designed to be the ultimate expression of what a rear-wheel-drive, V8-powered luxury machine can achieve before the gasoline era draws to a close.

At the core of the Blackwing's legendary status is its 6.2-liter Supercharged LT4 V8. This hand-built masterpiece produces a monumental 668 horsepower and 659 lb-ft of torque, propelling the sedan to a top speed of over 200 MPH. Unlike its competitors, which have moved toward small-displacement turbos and all-wheel drive, the CT5-V Blackwing remains a purist's dream, sending all that power exclusively to the rear wheels. Paired with the TREMEC 6-speed manual, the Blackwing offers a visceral, mechanical connection that has earned it a spot as a new flagship model.

This 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is a pristine example of the model year that celebrated Cadillac's 120th Anniversary. By 2023, the Blackwing had firmly established itself as the "king of the hill" among sports sedans, offering a level of chassis tuning and driver feedback that is practically unmatched in its class. Featuring the latest Magnetic Ride Control 4.0—the fastest-reacting suspension technology in the world—this vehicle can transition from a supple luxury cruiser to a track-dominating monster in milliseconds. It is a vehicle that commands respect on the road, balancing an understated "sleeper" aesthetic with the aggressive aero needed for 200 MPH stability.

Inside, this Blackwing is a masterclass in driver-focused refinement. The cabin is outfitted with carbon-fiber-backed performance seats that provide exceptional lateral support during high-G cornering while remaining comfortable for daily use. Technology is at the forefront with a 12-inch reconfigurable HD instrument cluster and an integrated Performance Data Recorder (PDR) that allows you to capture 1080p video and telemetry of your drives. Every touchpoint, from the sueded-microfiber accents to the AKG 16-speaker premium audio system, reminds you that while this car has the heart of a racer, it never compromises on its heritage as a Cadillac flagship.
